Primary Schools

Helmsley Community Primary School is a rapidly growing and dynamic member of the Ryedale Learning Trust, nestled in the stunning North Yorkshire Moors. Whilst expansion and whole school progress continues, the school is proud and committed to serving and working in partnership alongside the local community of Helmsley and the surrounding areas.


Blessed with an expansive, natural outdoor space, pupils have the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in an environment that stimulates appreciation of the world around them. This provides the exciting platform for the school’s ‘Global Curriculum’ that inspires our citizens of the future!

Kirkbymoorside Community Primary School is a caring, inclusive school where the needs of the children come first. We work in close partnership with the trust to ensure that 'every child is inspired to succeed and supported to achieve their potential'.

Sinnington Community Primary School is a popular school located in the tranquil village of Sinnington, surrounded by the natural beauty of the North Yorkshire Moors. It classrooms including a Pre-school, and provides itself on offering a comprehensive, broad and flexible curriculum to children of all abilities.


The team are dedicated to creating an inclusive curriculum where every child has the opportunity to grow and flourish into life-long learners. We passionately believe in providing every child with fantastic opportunities to become independent learners and acquire skills for life.


Our school moto, ‘Achieving excellence together’ emphasises the importance we place on working as a team – children, families and community. Every child that joins Sinnington Primary School will receive a warm welcome, feel part of the family and receive an excellent, rounded education.
